The heart behind Amysville Home Health, LLC, begins with our founder, Abibatu Kamara, known to many as Ms. Abie. Her journey in service started with the State of Maryland Department of Human Services, and later with the Montgomery County Department of Human Services, where she devoted more than a decade to serving children, families, and the elderly with compassion and dedication. Throughout her career, Ms. Abie saw the challenges families face in finding dependable, compassionate care for their loved ones, especially within underserved communities.

She witnessed the stress and gaps in support and felt a deep calling to create something better. That calling led her to establish Amysville Home Health, LLC. Guided by her passion and commitment, she built the agency on the principles of dignity, integrity, and family-centered care.
